Apple City Players presents Misery by William Goldman, based on the novel by Stephen King and reimagined by director Julz Stewart.
After a serious car crash, novelist Paul Sheldon is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes, who claims to be his biggest fan. Annie brings him to her remote cabin to recover, where her obsession takes a dark turn when she discovers Sheldon is killing off her favorite character from his novels.
Please Note: Latecomers cannot be admitted. The running time is 1 hour and 45 minutes, without an interval. This production contains strong language and adult themes. There are strobe/flashing lights, smoke and haze effects, with some loud music. Some scenes include, death, physical aggression and references to depression, anxiety and suicide.
